History
- Kouka1846
- Moved from the present-day Okaba-cho, Higashi Ward, Hamamatsu City to the current location (Wago-cho, Naka Ward, Hamamatsu City) to run a vegetable oil manufacturing business using power from a water turbine.
- MeijiMay 1910
- Switched to a noodle-making business on the premises of the current Headquarters Factory by Teiichiro Sumioka, the CEO from two generations ago, and started producing and selling dried noodles.

- Took over the family business by Sohei Sumioka, the previous CEO
