What the Sumioka Foods Group has been keeping in mind for its history of more than 100 years is customer satisfaction above all. Today, with increasing health consciousness, the needs of customers are becoming diverse. In order to flexibly respond to such needs, the Sumioka Foods Group has enhanced its development and manufacturing system that can respond in detail to small-lot production of various products. We will continue to accurately grasp the trend of the times and provide safe, delicious, and diverse new food products while making the best use of the traditions we have cultivated over many years in order to meet all the needs of our customers.

History

Kouka1846
Moved from the present-day Okaba-cho, Higashi Ward, Hamamatsu City to the current location (Wago-cho, Naka Ward, Hamamatsu City) to run a vegetable oil manufacturing business using power from a water turbine.
MeijiMay 1910
Switched to a noodle-making business on the premises of the current Headquarters Factory by Teiichiro Sumioka, the CEO from two generations ago, and started producing and selling dried noodles.

Took over the family business by Sohei Sumioka, the previous CEO
